Living
in Neville there are many interesting things to do in the village and
within the Blayney Shire. Go horse riding in
Neville and Pennsylvania State Forests, or around the quiet roads. Motor bike riding. Bushwalking, bird watching and bike riding. Just walking around the village. The showground offers ample space for ball sports and use of model aircraft etc There is a tennis court in the village. Go yabbying or fishing in a creek or dam. There are several community groups including the Women's fellowship, the Craft Group. The Rural Bush Fire Service, Social Club. There are local Uniting and Presbyterian churches which hold regular services. After school two days a week there is the Active After Schools Community program which offers varying sporting activities for the children including golf, tennis, dancing, bike riding, etc Neville Public Schools music teacher is planning percussion and guitar lessons this year at the Neville hall commencing with January School Holidays Percussion Workshops for more details go to www.liveinrhythm.com.au Lunch or dinner at the Neville hotel which has a dinning room suitable for families and 2 wide screen TVs. Pop into the Bushranger Cafe at the Neville Store for a cuppa and a chat or somewhere peaceful to read the Sunday papers. Go Camping in the forest or head out to Wyangala Dam and Water slide. Try sailing or fishing on the Carcoar dam. There are golf courses at Blayney, Mandurama and Lyndhurst with a putting green planned for Neville Showground. This is a great environment for the children to get a pony. Take the children to the play equipment at the Neville War Memorial Park or the play equipment at the Neville Showground take a ball to kick around.
